Lake Worth officials sent out a "zombie alert for Lake Worth and Terminus." The alert warned that less than 7,380 customers were without power due to extreme zombie activity.
The city posted a Facebook message saying the alert was a mistake and that they are investigating.

- A bit of text entered into the alert system that has since been forgotten.
- A test to gauge public reaction.
- A hack, but this seems to be the lest likely of the three.
